- Managing all Stroke Member referrals, including home visits and ongoing family support
- Liaising with Speech and Language Therapists and Surrey based hospitals
- Ongoing Stroke Member and Volunteer support
- Recruiting all Volunteers
- Staff Management
- Working with our Groups Coordinator, ensuring our 5 groups are operating in a relaxed and fun environment
- Supporting our Group Leaders
- Overseeing all Volunteer and Staff training, including inductions and mandatory training needs
- Policies and Procedures
I come from a corporate background working at various companies in the Pharmaceutical Industry, to Technical Facilities Management. I joined TALK in 2018 and from that day on, I have been truly inspired by our Stroke Members’ determination, and our Volunteers’ dedication.
I am a family orientated person with a passion for music. I studied Performing Arts, I sing and play the piano, and I also like to upcycle furniture. I am obsessed with all interior design TV programmes, and I have over a hundred pairs of shoes…but who’s counting!
